that means each scholarship recipient
will pay $1056 a year. Scholarships
will be provided to a maximum of
85 students from each nation.

All Congo-Kinshasa students are
provided scholarships as a response
to the humanitarian imperative caused
by the long war. Each student in this
group will pay about 27% of the regular
tuition, that is $720 a year.

ACADEMIC FEES

I. TUITION

The prescribed academic fees/tuition are set out below.

General Requirements

Undergraduate & Graduate Degree Studies:
$ 2640 a year
They are payable in FULL upon enrollment or in THREE installments as follows:

  • $ 990 First Payment for 3courses: 3x$330 per course=$990
  • $ 990 Second Payment for 3courses: 3x$330 per course=$990
  • $ 660 Third Payment for 2courses: 2x$330 per course=$660

Graduate Studies Certificates:

  • $ 990 First Payment for 3courses: 3x$330 per course=$990
  • $ 660 Second Payment for 2courses: 2x$330 per course=$660


African Student Residents

Undergraduate & Graduate Degree Studies:
$ 1400 a year
They are payable in FULL upon enrollment or in THREE installments as follows:

  • $ 525 First Payment for 3courses: 3x$175 per course=$525
  • $ 525 Second Payment for 3courses: 3x$175 per course=$525
  • $ 350 Third Payment for 2courses: 2x$175 per course=$350

Graduate Studies Certificates:

  • $ 525 First Payment for 3courses: 3x$175 per course=$525
  • $ 350 Second Payment for 2courses: 2x$175 per course=$350


African Students – Dem. Rep. Congo Residents

Undergraduate & Graduate Studies
$ 720 a year
They are payable in FULL upon enrollment or in THREE installments as follows:

  • $ 270 First Payment for 3courses: 3x$90 per course=$270
  • $ 270 Second Payment for 3courses: 3x$90 per course=$270
  • $ 180 Third Payment for 2courses: 2x$90 per course=$180


Graduate Studies Certificates:

  • $ 270 First Payment for 3courses: 3x$90 per course=$270

II. Other Fees

III. Methods of Payment

All the payment must be made in U.S. dollars using one of the following possibilities:
1. Online by Credit or Debit Card: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover.
2. or Bank Wire Transfer
3.Special Case Concerning DRC Residents

1. Online by Credit or Debit Card: MasterCard,
Visa.

Please mention on the credit card transaction references your full name, program of study, country of origin, your  university student number ID if already known. Please add 5% of amount of the transaction to cover the credit card transaction fee. Once you have completed the credit card payment, send us an email with your complete references and ID number as mentioned in the transaction and the details of the transaction.

As soon as the University receives your payment, you will be notified, and your application or case will be processed.

WHERE TO PAY WITH CREDIT CARDS:

  • NON-AFRICAN RESIDENTS: GO TO www.french-american.edu/moodle, and LOGIN or Create your new account by using the same username given to you when admitted to UFA, then enroll in 3 courses or 2 courses depending on the installment as specified above. P.S. USE THE PAYPAL LOGO BELOW TO PAY NON-TUITION FEES .

 

  • AFRICAN RESIDENTS: Pay the amount corresponding to the installment as specified above. GO TO www.french-american.edu/moodle, and LOGIN or Create your new account by using the same username given to you when admitted to UFA, then enroll in 3 courses or 2 courses depending on the installment as specified above. In the learning site MOODLE, you will select your Country of Residence and the program will automatically the correct cost per course corresponding to African Residents as described above. P.S. USE THE PAYPAL LOGO BELOW TO PAY NON-TUITION FEES .

2. Bank Wire Transfers


All bank wire transfer must be made in U.S. dollars. Payment can be made to the University’s bank account by providing the following information to your bank:

Please mention on the bank wire transfer transaction references your full name, program of study, country of origin, your university student number ID if already known. Please make sure you pay all the bank charges associated with the funds transfer: contact your bank to determine which charges apply so as to adjust the total amount of your transfer accordingly.

Once you have completed the bank wire transfer, send us an email with your complete references and ID number as mentioned in the transaction and the details of the transaction.

3.SPECIAL CASE CONCERNING DRC RESIDENTS

Residents of the DRC can pay their fees and tuition using one the two methods described above or in person:
a) Credit card: as above
b) Bank Wire transfer: as above
c) In Person: Only by going in person to the Center of University services in Kinshasa. DO NOT MAIL CASH!!!
