MOODLE Expert Volunteers Needed – Build Bridges to the World by Providing Technical Support, When You Can, to Professors and Students.

The Massachusetts, Cambridge-based American University of Kinshasa Foundation is looking for Moodle Expert Volunteers to provide technical support to Professors and Students at its affiliated French-American University / Université Franco-Américaine. You will be part of the pool of volunteer experts, providing help whenever you can. Our goal is to work towards equalizing or democratizing the world access to quality higher education so as to advance humanity itself.

Increasing access to higher education, especially in developing countries, has the potential to improve and save lives. For example most survivors of the recent seven-year war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo need access to high-quality college education. The protracted war and its extended financial crisis killed over five million people, affected lives, social and physical infrastructures, and dismantled schools. There is a humanitarian imperative to bring the classroom to life again in that particular nation, and this online education is a timely response to the crisis.

Volunteers can help bring much-needed higher education to many people around the world in spite of their geographic location or limited financial resources. The French American University will be able to reach students in need globally, with particular attention to students from developing countries in Africa, South America or Asia. The doors are equally open to students from any developed nation who might be interested in our quality programs.
The hope is that a few volunteers from around the world will seize this opportunity to donate a gift of hope and education by assisting professors or students with their practical use of Moodle to teach, administer or access lessons. To lower the teaching language barriers so as to reach more people in need, courses will be taught in English, French, Spanish (MBA ONLY), and Portuguese. You are free to help in the language of your choice.
If you would like to help increase the world access to higher education, please join us and invite your colleagues to join us. Complete the online application, paste your résumé/curriculum Vitae, and specify the language you will use to provide technical support.
Thank you for building bridges to the world. APPLY HERE.
